We’re delighted to share the details of our latest Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) case study about UK SMEs, funded through the DASA-delivered Defence Technology Exploitation Programme, advancing innovation in defence through collaboration.

The SMEs funded are:

  • Filtronic whose project, with a major aerospace manufacturer, is focused on developing specialised plastic encapsulation technology for compound semiconductor devices.
  • Kognitiv Spark, in collaboration with its higher tier partner Serco, is developing a Mixed Reality software solution to be deployed on a secure defence network.
  • NquiringMinds is working with BAE Systems to develop advanced analytics for its marine combat system.
  • VRAI is working with BAE Systems on a project integrating its technology to capture, analyse and visualise simulator data into a portable simulator for trainee Hawk pilots.
