Newcastle College have started another class of Level 2 Engineering courses with a hands-on focus, practical experience and a sound understanding of theory and principles of Engineering.

Our learners are developing foundation competence in manufacturing, maintenance, and fabrication. Learning from expert tutors, our students develop the skills in our industry-standard workshops and get to grips with equipment including, but not limited to, a full fabrication shop, 5 axis CNC mill and 3D printing and design software.

The learners joined this course to advance onto an Apprenticeship when this becomes available with one of our employer partners.

If you are considering recruiting an apprentice, or know someone that is, why not contact me at martijn.kool@ncl-coll.ac.uk to set up a work trial, so you can see how much these young people have to offer.
