1. What is your role at AM Recruitment?
I am Head of Client Relationships, meaning I look after the sales & marketing functions, client experience and partnerships.
2. What does AM Recruitment do?
We are specialists in all things Engineering, Construction,. Manufacturing and Technical Recruitment, and part of a larger group of companies that offer design and engineering services, and training!
3. What gets you out of bed in a morning?
On a weekend, the kids! But during the week, we have so much going on within the AM Group of Companies that there is no time to laze about!
4. What makes AM Recruitment different?
Our senior recruiters are “in-industry” people, who have either worked within our specialist sectors or recruited for decades in these sectors. This allows us to also offer consultancy services if required when helping with labour supply.
5. What are the businesses greatest strength?
Our people. As well as being industry specialists themselves, we are an extremely tight knit team that trust each other whole-heartedly, which ultimately benefits the clients.
6. What are your primary markets / sectors?
Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, Technical (although we are growing very quickly in other fields such as Health and Safety, Commercial, Sales and Marketing roles)
7. Do you have growth plans for the future?
Yes, we have recently launched AM Training to service clients in the same sectors with H&S compliance training requirements, but to also help shorten the skills gap in the North East (and beyond if required). This includes working in the pre-employability arena, helping our region’s unemployed people get into work by giving them work-ready skills in the weeks before interview.
