Award-winning Sedgefield based business, Demeter Water Solutions, will be looking to raise awareness of water savings and sustainability when they attend next months EMCON conference in Newton Aycliffe. The company help businesses across various sectors, including engineering and manufacturing, to reduce their water costs and usage using their data logging equipment and water management software, Utilities Manager. Following recent success as winners of the prestigious Edie Sustainability Leaders Awards 2021, and a finalist in the Company of the Year in the North East Business Awards in 2020, they are now looking to share their knowledge with delegates attending the North East event. The EMCON show has over 100 exhibiting companies and welcome over 1,000 visitors, this year’s event is expected to be even more successful with delegates keen to meet face to face again after a year of disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Demeter’s business development director, Liz Smedley, commented, ‘We’re really looking forward to attending the EMCON event, it’s such a great opportunity for us to showcase our services and demonstrate how we can help businesses, particularly in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, to reduce their water costs and usage.
