B2B marketing agency Horizon Works will be helping to highlight the strength of Northumberland’s manufacturing sector next month, at Subcon, a major national industry conference.
The company, which is headquartered at Northumberland Business Park near Cramlington, will be representing the sector along with four manufacturing businesses based in the county.
Horizon Works was successful in securing fully funded exhibition space at Subcon, which takes place from June 4 to 6 at Birmingham NEC, from economic regeneration company Advance Northumberland.
Subcon is firmly established as the must-attend event for manufacturing buyers across all industry sectors. With more than 350 different suppliers from over 20 different countries in attendance, exhibiting will give Horizon Works the opportunity to showcase its business on an international scale.
Advance Northumberland, which is funding the exhibition space and hosting the Northumberland Pavilion at SubCon, opened up the application process to all manufacturing focused businesses across the county before selecting Horizon Works to represent the region along with Arian EMS, OEL Group, Universal Wolf and Texo.
Advance Northumberland is looking to showcase investment opportunities and the strength of the supply chain and manufacturing cluster in Northumberland by offering a platform for businesses operating in the supply chain that want to grow or diversify their businesses.
The best of British manufacturing will be on display at Subcon alongside a wealth of market leading international suppliers all looking to help UK manufacturers optimise their supply chain. Visitors include key decision makers from a range of industries including automotive, aerospace, electronics, energy, rail, oil and gas and defence and security. Richard Wearmouth, chair of Advance Northumberland commented: “We have a strong manufacturing sector in Northumberland and it’s great to see that illustrated through these five businesses. They all bring something different to the table so we will be able to demonstrate the variety of opportunities within Northumberland and showcase the county as a great place to do business.”
Samantha Vassallo, founder and managing director of Horizon Works said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been chosen by Advance Northumberland to represent the region at Subcon. It provides us with the opportunity to promote our business to a national and international audience and is another step forward in our growth plans as we see an increased demand for our services throughout the UK and overseas.”
