The engineering & manufacturing industry is facing a number of HR challenges from workforce shortages, recruitment challenges, retention and attrition.

These challenges are having a significant impact, making it difficult for businesses to find and retain qualified workers, leading to productivity losses and increased costs. To address these challenges, the sector needs to develop innovative HR strategies that focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Wed 6th June session will focus particularly on developing the people managers in engineering & manufacturing companies in a way which empowers them to create better working environments.

Target audience – those with an HR responsibility within small, medium and large engineering & manufacturing companies in North East England from mid to senior career level.

Come and join like minded professionals responsible for HR in engineering and manufacturing businesses to develop your practice, become more effective and efficient and address some of the day to day challenges of HR in the engineering & manufacturing sector in the North East.

Engineering & Manufacturing Network, in partnership with Jackson Hogg are hosting regular peer to peer specialist networking events for those working in HR roles within the Engineering & Manufacturing sector .

This event is open to members and non members of the Engineering & Manufacturing Network but preference will be given to members should the event be full. If you make, manufacture or engineer products please choose the Engineering and Manufacturing Company ticket If you deliver or sell services into Engineering and Manufacturing, please choose the Service Company ticket option.
