The North East’s first ever Tyne Design Week is here, a bold new festival set to put the region on the UK design map.
From Trunki inventor Rob Law MBE to Atomhawk founder Ron Ashtiani, 12 live design challenges, 15+ open studios, and boundary-pushing exhibitions, this is a five-day celebration of creativity, innovation, and ideas shaping our future.
Design studios across the region will open their doors, spaces will transform into creative platforms and big ideas will take centre stage.
Expect thought-leaders, makers, students, and changemakers coming together in venues across the North East.
This isn’t just a festival for designers, it’s for anyone curious about the future of work, place, technology and sustainable growth.
Tyne Design Week is powered by Edge Innovation, with support from the North East Combined Authority, Newcastle University and Northumbria University, and a growing network of creative partners.
