Digital Transformation in Manufacturing – Are You Future Proofing Your Business?

We have worked closely with Business Durham to create an informative opportunity for businesses to come together and discuss changing manufacturing processes with an example to learn of the changes that are possible presented by Richard Larder of Dyer Engineering.
Dyer Engineering has been selected to take part in a national, industry-first £230k project to prove the potential of networks technologies within manufacturing.
The Connected Factory Demonstrator will see Dyer Engineering join Digital Catapult to explore how technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and low-powered wide area networks (LPWAN) can improve productivity, streamline processes, improve yield and increase quality control. Come and hear how they are changing and adapting their manufacturing process in the new brave world of digital manufacturing. The Digital Catapult (run by Sunderland Software City in the North East) will also be there to talk about how other businesses can get on board the programme.
The meeting will take place at Tanfield Lea Business Centre on February 5, 2019, 8am-10am
