Start Small; Dream Big – Employer engagement breakfast

The North East Ambition team at The North East Combined Authority are delighted to be partnering with the Careers and Enterprise Company to deliver the Department for Education-backed Start Small; Dream Big pilot in the North East. The pilot, which will run until March 2025, will see 140 primary schools from across all 7 local authority embedding career-related learning and arranging meaningful encounters with local employers.

Join us for breakfast and networking at Alexander Battery Technologies, kindly hosted by Amy Jefferson, HR Manager and find out more about the pilot and how you can be involved.

Breakfast and networking from 9.00am with a prompt 09.30am start.

This event will give you an opportunity to:

• Find out more about the Start Small; Dream Big primary careers pilot
• Hear from other partners who have been involved in this work
• Network and share best practice
• Develop your primary school engagement offer
• Get involved in the upcoming wave of the pilot

With this being a national pilot, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a significant programme that can help shape and impact the strategy for Careers Related Learning in Primary Education. We aim to support employer and school partnerships to develop this Summer with activity due to be delivered in the Autumn Term from September 2024 – January 2025.
