Too Early Co. connects the UK’s brightest university talent with work placements at startups- Summer 2026. As two Durham University Economics students we have seen firsthand
the default pathway for elite university talent into large corporate graduate programmes. However, we see a change in the tide with a growing appetite to work in exciting startups operating out of the UK.
We want to help startups acquire top-level talent – students are hungry for experience and ready to put their bright ideas and fresh perspectives into action.
How we operate
We screen our applicant pool of 250+ students from Imperial, Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, LSE, UCL and other top 10 UK universities, selecting a top 5 applicants for your business.
We screen based on company location, university degree, personal projects, academic standards, personal attributes, work preferences and company fit.
From there, you have the opportunity to interview your candidate or request additional details prior to selection. You can also discuss the structure of work direct with the
candidate, including payment, working hours and duration of the role.
The process is designed to be free from any frictions, and if you do not select an applicant, you will not be charged [and can also opt in to receiving future updates on available candidates tailored direct to your business].
Many of our students are open to the opportunity for part-time work during term-time and we would love to also discuss extending the work placement into the academic year.
