  1. What is your 5 year plan?

Our aim is to grow our portfolio and broaden our footprint across the North East. Last year we increased our apprenticeship intake by 50%, upskilled nearly 1000 candidates within manufacturing training programmes, with over 80% progressing into work, gaining a promotion or a permanent contract. We want to continue to grow by 50% year on year.

  1. What are you looking for from your EMN membership?

As a large part of our service offering is within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry being part of the network is a huge benefit and opportunity for us to not only grow our own network but also stay apprised of what is happening within the industry to allow us to continue to develop and improve our service offering to those businesses we work with, within the industry.

  1. What information do you want to get out to members?

Our philosophy is to deliver exceptional levels of service to the clients and the candidates we work with, following the highest standards of professionalism and personal integrity.

For those within the network we are always available for consultation on workforce development and staffing solutions. Developing working partnerships within the network also allows us to talent match, bring stakeholders together and work innovatively to address the skills shortages within County Durham.

  1. What are you going to offer back to the community?

Each year we nominate a different charity to raise money as part of our Better Health at Work campaign. This year we’ve chosen the Newton Aycliffe based charity The Hub of Wishes.

As we have a significant presence in Newton Aycliffe, consisting of two on site offices and a large number of associates on placement it seemed like the ideal area for us to support a local charity.

The Hub of Wishes offer a friendly and confidential service for those who may suffer from emotional distress, difficult times and mental health issues as well as supporting those who are coming out of hospital, helping prevent re-admission and help with re-adjustment and re-integration into the community.

We will be hosting an annual Charity Football Tournament in partnership with Bishop Auckland College, where local businesses will be battling it out on the field and raising awareness and money for charities all close to our hearts.
