New partnership bolsters support for North East engineering and manufacturing sectors
A new partnership between B2B marketing company Horizon Works and EMN is set to boost business support in North East England.
Horizon Works, which is based at Northumberland Business Park near Cramlington, Northumberland, has been confirmed as a new affiliate partner of EMN.
A long-standing EMN member, Horizon Works supports innovators in complex industries and offers a wide range of integrated marketing services across strategy, PR, design and digital.
It has supported EMN members in the past with workshops offering practical marketing advice and last year hosted a marketing webinar series to help members during the UK’s lockdown.
Horizon Works was also a Silver Sponsor at the EMCON show in Newton Aycliffe in 2019 and 2021. The new partnership will build on the relationship with EMN even further.
As an affiliate partner, Horizon Works will be running monthly ‘lunch and learn’ advice and networking sessions for EMN members. These will be launched at a special event on
Tuesday, December 7 at Gestamp Tallent Ltd in Newton Aycliffe, which is part of international automotive components group Gestamp. The event will be held at Gestamp’s
new Tallent Academy, a 4300 sq ft training and facility adjacent to its factory.
Horizon Works will also be offering a wider range of marketing support to EMN members, including drop-in marketing surgeries and member offers. Samantha Vassallo, managing director of Horizon Works, said: “We’re delighted to be cementing our relationship with the EMN as an affiliate partner.
“Our relationship with EMN goes back many years and we have always been extremely impressed by the support the network has provided to North East-based business, both through its regular activities and via the fantastic EMCON show in Newton Aycliffe.
“Our whole team is extremely passionate about supporting the growth of the North East’s engineering and manufacturing sectors, and aiding in the development of the many visionary businesses we have in our region. It’s therefore fantastic to have the opportunity to help EMN members at a deeper level through this partnership.”

We are very pleased to welcome Horizonworks to our affiliate programme as it will help to further this within our network and provide a more strategic approach to many of our businesses plans.
