Aycliffe Business Park resident Excelpoint is delighted to announce it has appointed two Business Development Managers further extending its growth.
Throughout the global pandemic, Excelpoint’s team has continued to work from home supporting customers to efficiently and effectively introduce remote working, enabling workforces worldwide to access central systems and information.
Due to the urgency to transition to home-based working, it deployed software for both new and existing customer at pace and cost-effectively.
Excelpoint has seen demand for business process automation increase significantly in recent years as organisations embrace new digital technologies to achieve efficiencies and cost-saving across the business.

The two new members of the business development team bring a wealth of sales and account management experience.
With a career spanning 40 years, Dave Spencer has a wealth of business development experience across software, retail, training and education. Dave has also spent many years on the bench at Teesside Magistrate Court and as an IMB member at Kirk Livingston Prison.
Commenting on his appointment, Dave said: “I am excited to be joining such a fast-growing business, and one positioned within the software sector. With my experience, I am looking forward to applying my skills to support the business growth strategy moving forward and to engage and support customers to gain a better understanding of the importance of undergoing a digital journey.”
Paul Shackleston has over 30 years of business development experience working in the financial services, photocopiers and document management software, and capital equipment sectors. The appointment of Paul and Dave will enable further growth for the business and expansion into new markets.
Paul added: “It is certainly an exciting time for businesses within the software sector. I am looking forward to working with globally and regionally recognised brands to support them in adopting our no-code technology and achieving enterprise-wide business process automation.”
