Paragon Rapid Technologies, the North-Eastern product development support company, has been working hard to raise its levels of service and quality across its three business streams and now has a BSI Kitemark to prove its achievements.
The BSI Kitemark represents quality in performance, management, and service, and denotes that all services offered by a company can be trusted. Companies earning the BSI Kitemark are independently audited on a regular basis and are required to deliver services to the BSI’s exacting quality standards consistently.
Based at Teesside International Airport, the Paragon Rapid Technologies group of companies provides world-class support throughout the product development cycle, from concept to manufacture. Through its three strategic business units, Paragon AM Technologies, Paragon CNC Technologies and Paragon Rapid Technologies, the company offers technical expertise, process knowledge and supply chain management to customers in the aerospace, defence, automotive and transport, marine, medical, consumer, design, industrial, architectural, entertainment and energy, oil and gas industries.
To be assessed for the BSI Kitemark, companies must hold ISO 9001, the international standard for a quality management system. Paragon, which has held the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for four years, was audited by BSI in July this year.
David Hamm, Paragon’s Quality Manager, comments, “It’s with great pleasure that we can announce we have been assessed and certified to ISO 9001:2015 with BSI. We see it as a positive move to increase the levels of service offered to our customers. It will also allow us to manufacture products for the automotive sector and other industries requiring a governing body recognised by the IAF, and those who are also UKAS approved.”
