The engineering & manufacturing sector finds it hard to locate employees with appropriate skills and experience. The role of EMN is to help to overcome a wide range of problems and challenges faced by the engineering and manufacturing community… so we’re piloting a new Meet The Candidate service.
The Service is open to new and potential sector employees only, highlighting those new too, or newly available for work within the sector. This could include, those without current employment, individuals at risk of redundancy, people moving to, or back to the region, individuals coming to the end of their engineering qualification and beginning to investigate paid employment opportunities.

We will post it on our site for 6 weeks and as a community of engineering & manufacturing companies, the web page will be highlighted in our weekly member newsletter giving you some additional visibility and all we ask in return is for you to let us know if you find a position.
NB: We cannot accommodate those already in paid employment within the sector or those looking to move roles, unless you are returning to or moving into the region. This site is not aimed at consultants looking for project work or school aged pupils looking for work placements or work experience. With over two decades of experience, I’ve led marketing transformation for global businesses, developed integrated campaigns that align with sales and business goals, and built agile, effective programmes from the ground up.
Most recently, I led European marketing for a global on-demand manufacturing company, working across advanced technologies and diverse customer segments. I bring energy, clarity, and a bias for action—along with a deep understanding of how to connect technical expertise to commercial outcomes. I’m now looking for a senior role where I can lead meaningful change and make marketing a core driver of business success.
