B2B marketing company and Engineering and Manufacturing Network affiliate partner Horizon Works has launched a new events programme of workshops and webinars for manufacturing and engineering businesses.
Horizon Works’ ‘Opportunities Series’ of events, which are being run in conjunction with industry partners, will be highlighting regional and national opportunities for engineering and manufacturing companies.
The first in the series will be ‘The Northumberland Opportunity’ in association with Advance Northumberland on 19th September at Horizon Works’ Event Space at Northumberland Business Park near Cramlington.
At this event, Advance Northumberland will be presenting on developments in Northumberland’s key industrial sectors (including renewable energy), the support available to businesses, development sites, supply chain opportunities, skills and workforce development initiatives, and what’s on the horizon for the area. The event is free for manufacturing and engineering businesses, and also includes lunch, networking and a panel discussion.
This will be followed by ‘The Defence Opportunity’ on 24th October with guest speaker Andrew Kinniburgh, Director-General at Make UK Defence. The event will shine the spotlight on the opportunities available for North East-based manufacturing and engineering companies in the defence industry.
