The Newcastle-based operation of national business technology provider CMYK has forecast seven figure growth after successfully establishing its presence in the region.
CMYK recently celebrated its first year operating in the North East, having launched a state of the art office on Newcastle Business Park in 2021. It has since secured new contracts from several of the North East’s Top 200 firms, and attracted new business opportunities with some of the region’s leading education, professional services and manufacturing organisations.
CMYK, which was founded in 1996, provides a wide range of technologies and services, including all aspects of Managed IT Services, Hardware and associated support, Managed Print & Integrated Scanning services, and communications including both Hosted Telecoms and Mobile. The company also provides Business Connectivity, Cloud Services and Visitor Management Solutions.
Its North East-based team is led by Regional Directors Craig Pratt and Sarah Wharrier, who have a combined 25 years of experience in supporting the region’s organisations with business technology solutions.
CMYK partners with companies such as Sharp, Konica Minolta, Apple, Microsoft, HP, Sophos, Nuance and Adobe, and has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Warrington and London.
Craig Pratt, Regional Sales Director at CMYK, said: “Based on current forecasts and on-going projects we are set to have an exceptional 2022, with seven figure growth completely achievable.
“Our focus over the last 12 months was to firmly put CMYK on the map and establish the CMYK brand across the North East. Looking at the number of businesses we’ve brought onboard so far confirms we’ve done a pretty good job at achieving this. However, the hard work continues!
“We know we still have a long road ahead and we are more focused than ever on continuing to drive the business forward.
“Sarah and I are proud to have spearheaded the growth of CMYK in the North and we’re excited to be building on the success of the last 12 months as we move into our second year in Newcastle.”
Sarah Wharrier, Regional Sales Director at CMYK, added: “We are in a fantastic position looking ahead and we have built a solid footing for CMYK here in the North East. This footing will help to propel us forward as we continue to see substantial demand for our services with clients looking to partner with a dynamic, forward-thinking business.
“The experience and skillset of our support functions has allowed us to capitalise on a fragmented marketplace. We are in the privileged position to offer clients one point of contact for all aspects of IT services, communications and document workflow to deliver the workplace of the future.”
CMYK supports clients across all sectors including manufacturing, engineering, professional services and education with business technology and agile workplace solutions. It works with companies including start-ups, SMEs and major multi-site global organisations.
CMYK rounded off 2021 by receiving national recognition as a ‘Highly Commended’ Reseller / Dealer of the Year at the prestigious National PRINT IT Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
As well as industry recognition, CMYK also had successes in other areas of the business by achieving 4 ISO accreditations during 2021, forming new partnerships and continuing to lead the way in sustainability with its Community Tree Planting Project, through which a tree is planted for every customer which works with the company.
