At Drax Power Station we already use biomass sourced from sustainably managed forests to generate electricity\, and we now plan to install BECCS technology to capture the CO2 emitted as part of that energy generation. The process of electricity generation becomes carbon negative\, as more CO2 has been removed from the atmosphere than has been added.
