RS Industrial Acquire ACDC Cranes
RS Industrial Services (RSIS), a leading cranes maintenance and service provider, has announced the acquisition of Sheffield-based ACDC Cranes Ltd, strengthening its presence in Yorkshire and the Humber and marking a major step in the Group’s ambitious UK growth strategy. Supported by further investment from Foresight Group, the deal gives RSIS an established operational base in Sheffield and brings ACDC’s experienced engineering team into the wider Group. With a strong regional reputation for 24/7 breakdown support, overhead crane repairs and lifting equipment inspections, ACDC adds valuable capability and local expertise to RSIS’s expanding national service network.
The acquisition will deliver immediate benefits for customers across both businesses, combining ACDC’s trusted regional service with RSIS’s technical expertise , extensive supply chain and wider Group resources. RSIS will also support ACDC in further strengthening its compliance framework, including progression towards formal ISO accreditations.
