Did you know that UK employers now have a new legal duty, effective from October 26, 2024, to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of their employees, including harassment by third parties, and to demonstrate proactive measures.
Also, On April 6, 2025, the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023 came into effect, granting parents a new right to up to 12 weeks of paid leave when their baby requires neonatal care, in addition to other parental leave entitlements like maternity, paternity, or adoption leave.
