1. What is your role at HR2day?

Nicky Jolley, I am founder and MD of HR2day, which was established 11 years ago after I had spent a number of years at senior level in various HR roles throughout the region.

2. What does HR2day do?

We provide professional, bespoke HR solutions for small to medium sized businesses throughout the UK, focussing mainly in the North East. Our team of highly experienced HR experts help business owners and managers to stay compliant with HR law, inspire their teams, and deal with all HR issues. We offer everything from remote support a fully serviced HR department.

3. What gets you out of bed in the morning?

My passion for people and for business. I love to see results, and whether that is helping a client to become fully compliant, or helping them deal with a tricky HR predicament, a successful outcome for the client means a successful result for my team.

4. What makes HR2day different?

Personal service. We offer a bespoke service to each and every client, we understand that all businesses are different and requirements can not always be met with a standard service level agreement. We build long-term relationships that work, we achieve results and our clients rely on us.

5. What are the business’s greatest strength?

Our people. We have built a team on talented individuals, that have different skillsets and complement each other which makes the team work. We are dynamic, committed and professional, and we support our clients every step of the way. Last year 100% of clients renewed their contracts with us, that is testament to the team and the personal service we offer.

6. What are your primary markets/sectors?

We work with a variety of clients across all sectors, but over 60% of our clients are within the manufacturing and engineering sector.

7. Do you have growth plans for the future?

Of course! We continually reinvest in the business, and we support our staff through learning and development. We plan to expand the team over the next few months, and we have already started work on developing the office to accommodate a bigger team! Even with the growth of the team, we will always retain that personal touch that we offer to all clients.
