Great Annual Savings Group (GAS) has been confirmed as a new affiliate partner, and preferred energy supplier, for the Engineering and Manufacturing Network (EMN).

The Seaham-based business savings company replaces Utilitywise, which entered administration earlier this month.

GAS will work with EMN members to provide advice and health checks to their business, suggesting where they might reduce their energy consumption and how to lower costs.

The partnership between EMN and GAS will enable companies to access:

  • Free advice, support around their energy bills
  • End to end account management
  • Energy health checks and audits
  • Market leading rates
  • Training and guidance on energy management to reduce consumption

Chris Bonas is Business Development Manager (Partnerships) for GAS. He said: “We’re delighted to agree this long-term partnership with EMN.

“We are fully committed to helping businesses in the region to be more energy efficient, in turn reducing their monthly overheads, and that’s exactly what this partnership is all about.

“We know many companies are paying more than they’re need to and aren’t aware of where in their business they could be more efficient, so we’ll be here to support them and hopefully, save them money.”

Ben Gilhespy is Operations Director of EMN. He said: “We’re delighted to announce GAS as our affiliate partner and preferred energy supplier.

“We know energy is a critical area for businesses with many becoming much more aware of their energy consumption. Through this partnership with GAS they will have access to free advice and health checks which could ultimately help them reduce their energy bills.”
